The Beautiful Oregon Bridges of Conde B. McCullough
This is a work in progress. I have not photographed any of Conde McCullough's bridges in Clatsop County. I have missed some of the bridges that were built on U.S. 101 before the new highway bypassed them, especially in Curry County. That said, below you will find eleven bridges on or near US 101 from Tillamook in the north to Gold Beach in the south. In the next section, we will travel north along Interstate 5 to catch many of the bridges designed by McCullough on or near the old US 99 which preceded Interstate 5. The final section will show some of McCullough's bridges in the Columbia Gorge, on US 30, which parallels Interstate 84 through the Gorge. At present, I have no photographs of McCullough's bridges in central and eastern Oregon.
